Latvia’s football scene continues to catch the attention of top European clubs, with young talent making waves in Italy. The latest exciting development involves Deniss Deņisovs, a 15-year-old central defender from Latvia, who is currently on trial with one of Italy’s most prestigious clubs, Juventus.

Deniss, who stands at 190cm tall, is still 15 – he cannot officially join the club just yet. However, when Deņisovs turns 16 in February, he could be given the green light to sign with Juventus, if the club will be satisfied with his performances during the trial period.

This opportunity marks a significant step in the young defender’s career, and it’s not every day that a Latvian player gets a chance to test his skills at one of the most recognized clubs in the world.

Deniss’s trial comes on the heels of another notable development involving Jegors Blaževičs, a 15-year-old left-back from Latvia’s U17 national team. Last week, Blaževičs was on trial with Genoa, one of Italy’s top clubs.
