Estonian Premium Liiga side JK Narva Trans, who finished fifth in the 2025 season, have announced that two of their foreign players – Ukrainian full-back Dmytro Bondar and Portuguese midfielder Afonso Correia – will leave the club following the conclusion of the campaign.
The 26-year-old Bondar joined Narva Trans ahead of this season after several years in Lithuania’s second division with FK Neptūnas. During his debut year in Estonia, he made 21 league appearances, starting in 16 of them and recording one assist.
Meanwhile, 24-year-old playmaker Correia also arrived before the 2025 season. Although his contract included an option for a one more year, the club decided not to trigger it. Correia struggled to secure a regular first-team spot, featuring in only seven matches early in the season before spending the second half with Narva Trans reserve team in Estonia’s third tier. Prior to his move to the Baltic region, Correia had spent his entire career in Portugal.
This has not been the only move by Narva Trans a few days after the season, as recently they confirmed that Georgian defender Shalva Burjanadze has signed a contract extension till end of 2027.
