After spending nine years in Poland, Lithuanian national team player Titas Milašius is set to return to his home country and sign with Hegelmann FC, according to our sources.

The 25-year-old left Lithuania in 2016 at the age of 16, moving from the National Football Academy team (now known as FK Be1) to join the Polish youth academy Escola Varsovia.

Following a few years in the youth system, he caught the attention of Polish top-tier side Wisła Płock, who signed the promising midfielder. Milašius made his Ekstraklasa debut in 2019 at the age of 18 against Lech Poznań — a match that remains his only appearance in Poland’s top division. After spending several seasons on loan in lower leagues, he joined Podbeskidzie as a free agent in 2021. Over two and a half seasons in Poland’s second tier, he played 55 matches and scored once.

His most recent stint was with Polish club Pogoń Siedlce. Last season, the then-24-year-old made 24 league appearances and scored two goals in Poland’s second division.

Milašius is also a regular member of the Lithuanian national team. Since making his international debut in a 2022 friendly win against San Marino, he has earned 11 caps for Lithuania.

Hegelmann FC, who are set to host St Patrick’s Athletic this Thursday in the first leg of the UEFA Europa Conference League first qualifying round, currently sit third in the A Lyga standings with 37 points after 19 matches.
