Sūduva have completed the signing of Japanese midfielder Yusuke Omori on a three-year contract ahead of the 2026 Toplyga season.
The 20-year-old joined the Marijampolė club after taking part in a trial period, convincing the coaching staff to offer terms. Omori will wear the number 20 shirt.
Omori moved to Europe at the start of 2024 and has spent his time in Latvia with Valmiera, having previously played in Japan for Tokai in Fukuoka. Last season Omori was the best goalscorer for Valmiera as they won the third division with 12 league goals.
Sūduva begin their Toplyga campaign on Sunday with an away fixture against Panevėžys. Their first home match is scheduled for 1 March at 14:15, when Šiauliai visit Marijampolė.
