FS Jelgava have announced that they have signed Miloš Pudil, a 20-year-old midfielder from Czechia, who came through the youth system of Slavia Prague.

Raised in Supíkovice, a small village in northern Czechia near the Polish border, Pudil began playing football at just six years old with FC Tatran Supíkovice. His talent attracted attention, and at 14 he joined Slavia Prague’s youth system, widely recognised as one of the strongest talent factories in the country.

Pudil’s rise through the ranks in Prague was rapid. By the age of 17, he was already featuring for Slavia’s reserve side in the Czech second division and soon after earned a place in the senior squad. His first appearance at the first team came in the UEFA Conference League, where he stepped onto the pitch against Fenerbahçe.

To further his development and gain regular minutes in men’s football, Pudil later moved on loan to FC Sellier & Bellot Vlašim in the Czech second tier, before continuing his career in the third division with Sokol Hostouň.

Internationally, Pudil has been a consistent figure in Czech youth football, representing his country across multiple age groups from U16 through to U19.

Primarily deployed on the right side of midfield, Pudil is valued for his adaptability, with the ability to operate on either flank or drop deeper into a holding midfield role.
