Burkina Faso forward Pierre Landry Kabore, one of the breakout stars of the current Estonian Premium Liiga season, is being linked with a move to Scottish Premiership side Heart of Midlothian, according to reports in the Scottish press.
The Edinburgh Evening News are reporting that Hearts have entered the race for the 23-year-old JK Narva Trans striker, who has been turning heads with his form in Estonia.
Kabore has scored 12 goals and provided 2 assists in just 15 matches this season, leading the league in scoring. Known for his pace, versatility, and direct attacking style, Kabore can play both on the wing and as a central striker. His recent debut for the Burkina Faso national team — in matches against Tunisia and Zimbabwe this June — has only added to his growing reputation, with many seeing him as one of the country’s brightest attacking prospects.
Kabore joined Narva Trans at the end of 2023 but began playing officially at the start of the 2024 season. Since then, he has amassed 50 appearances in all competitions, scoring 33 goals and delivering 10 assists.
A move to Hearts would mark a major step in Kabore’s career. The Edinburgh club has a storied history in Scottish football, having won the league title four times and finished runners-up 14 times. After finishing 7th in the 2024/25 Scottish Premiership campaign, Hearts missed out on Europe, having just fallen short in the UEFA Europa Conference League qualification round the season prior. Their last group stage appearance in the competition came in 2022/23, though they failed to progress beyond the opening phase.
