**[FC Hegelmann](https://balticfootballnews.com/?page_id=2406 "FC Hegelmann"), the runner-up of [A Lyga](https://balticfootballnews.com/?page_id=1120 "A Lyga"), has announced that they have re-signed goalkeeper Vincentas Šarkauskas for another season.**

The 25-year-old goalkeeper joined the Vilnius district team in the summer of 2023 after an impressive first half of the season with **[DFK Dainava Alytus](https://balticfootballnews.com/?page_id=2430 "DFK Dainava Alytus")**.

During the previous season, Vincentas started as the primary goalkeeper, but as the season progressed, he lost his starting position to the younger **Arijus Bražinskas**. In total, Šarkauskas made 13 appearances in **A Lyga**, conceding 16 goals and achieving two clean sheets.
