Latvian youth international forward Roberts Kukulis has signed a contract extension with Italian giants Inter Milan, committing his future to the club until the summer of 2028. His previous deal had been set to expire this coming summer.
The 18-year-old moved to Italy in September 2023 from SK Super Nova and has steadily progressed through Inter’s youth system. Last season, he was among the standout performers at U-18 level, scoring 16 goals in 31 matches and finishing as one of the top scorers in his age group.
This season, the Tukums Football School graduate has primarily featured for Inter’s Primavera side, making 26 appearances across all competitions and scoring seven goals. Recently, Kukulis found the net in front of 50,000 spectators in a UEFA Youth League knockout match, helping Inter U-19 secure progression to the next round with an away victory over Köln U-19.
Kukulis is also a regular call-up for Latvia’s youth national teams and has already made 10 appearances for the U-19 side.
