RFS have officially completed the permanent signing of Rostand Ndjiki, confirming that the Cameroonian forward will remain in Rīga beyond his initial loan spell. The 22-year-old had spent the past season at the club on loan from Spanish side CD Leganés, but has now signed a full contract with the Latvian champions.
Ndjiki joined RFS at the beginning of 2024 and made an immediate impression. In total, he has recorded six goals and three assists in 31 appearances across all competitions, emerging as a reliable attacking option. He also played his part in the club’s historic European campaign, featuring in four matches during RFS’s run in the UEFA Europa League phase.
Last season was not without its setbacks, however. Injury issues significantly disrupted Ndjiki’s rhythm, restricting him to just six first-team appearances over the year. Now fully fit again, the forward has returned to full training and is actively preparing with the squad ahead of the new season.
RFS have underlined their belief in Ndjiki by offering him a two-year contract, which also includes an option for an extension. Prior to joining RFS, the Cameroonian spent half a season with SK Super Nova.
