Latvian vice-champions FC RFS have confirmed that winger Jeremie Porsan-Clemente will not remain with the club for the 2026 season. The 27-year-old departs after three years in Latvian football, a spell that began with two seasons at Valmiera before he joined reigning champions RFS ahead of the 2025 campaign.

The former Marseille and Montpellier player [three Ligue 1 appearances in his career] arrived in Rīga with solid expectations after a good season with Valmiera where he had 14 goal contribution in 35 league games, but his impact ultimately fell short of what the club had hoped for.

This season, the Martinique international made 25 appearances across all competitions, scoring four goals and supplying two assists. While flashes of quality were evident, the overall influence did not fully align with RFS’s ambitions, leading both sides to part ways at the end of the campaign.

Across his three seasons in the Virslīga, Porsan-Clemente played 59 matches and found the net 12 times. His performances in Latvia also opened the door to international football: during his time in the league, he earned his first call-up to the Martinique national team, going on to make four appearances for his country.
