Promising Lithuanian player joins Salzburg Red Bull club system

Promising Lithuanian player Dovas Grudzinskas has announced that he will continue his career with the Austrian powerhouse Red Bull Salzburg. He shared the news on his Instagram account.

The 16-year-old midfielder lastly was with the FK TransINVEST academy. His father, Žydrūnas Grudzinskas, is the head of operations for FK TransINVEST. In his statement on Instagram, Dovas expressed his excitement about this new opportunity.

“I’m glad to finally announce the start of a new chapter in my career by joining the Red Bull Salzburg family,” he said.

He extended his gratitude to his family and friends for their support, as well as to the FA Žalgirietis Academy. Dovas acknowledged the academy’s founders, his father Žydrūnas Grudzinskas and Gediminas Kontautas, and he expressed appreciation for his coaches who have helped him grow as a person and a football player. He also thanked Ozas Gymnasium, Rimvydas Kochanauskas, and the coaching staff for their dedication to his development.

Dovas concluded by thanking FK TransINVEST for the warm support over the past six months and everyone involved in his journey so far: “Without you, I wouldn’t be where I am today. This is only the beginning. More to come!”
