A growing list of pre-season fixtures has now been confirmed, offering teams valuable match practice and supporters an early chance to reconnect with their clubs after the holidays. The schedule below, compiled by _Baltic Football News_ features a mix of domestic and cross-border friendlies involving sides from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, as well as participation in the Estonian Winter Tournament (_EJL Taliturniir_). These matches form a key part of pre-season work, allowing coaches to assess squads, build match fitness and integrate new players ahead of competitive action and while the outside is covered in snow. Taliturniir is a long-running winter tournament organised by the Estonian FA. It is a friendly competition with no overall winner and no league table. Further information about this year’s edition, including the rules, is available [here (in Estonian)](https://jalgpall.ee/voistlused/497/taliturniir). The fixture table below includes all pre-season matches announced so far. As additional games are confirmed, they will be added on an ongoing basis, so readers are encouraged to keep an eye on this space for updates. Much like last year, no Livonian Winter League is planned for 2026, with the sole edition to date of the Latvia-Estonia friendly competition having been held in 2024. _(updated 23rd February)_ \*please note that timings may change on short notice ### Pre-season friendlies 2026
