Pevtsov to stay in Kuressaare

FC Kuressaare have announced on social media that forward Gleb Pevtsov will continue playing for the club this season.

Pevtsov, who previously played for Kohtla-Järve and Narva Trans, joined Kuressaare last season, where he has played 32 Premium Liiga games, scored four goals and assisting three times.

“My thoughts are positive. I am happy, that I will be able to continue playing for Kuressaare. I like the team’s mentality – even in difficult scenarios every player gives 110%, to reach a positive result. The team’s target is to finish as high as possible, my individual target is to offer competitiveness for the Premium Liiga Golden boot,” Pevtsov told the club’s press release.

Kuressaare’s head coach Sander Post added:

“We are glad, that Pevtsov decided to extend his contract with us. He is a versatile forward, who offers many opportunities in attack.”
