Panevėžys have parted ways with head coach Roland Vrabec by mutual consent during the international break.
The club said the German coach requested to leave for personal reasons, despite his contract running until the end of the season. Panevėžys added that an agreement was reached after the side’s victory over Banga.
Vrabec took charge of 48 competitive matches during his time at the club. Panevėžys won 21 of those games, drew nine and lost 18.
During his spell in charge, Panevėžys won the 2025 LFF Cup, finished sixth in last season’s Toplyga and also played in the 2026 LFF Super Cup.
Panevėžys thanked Vrabec for his work and professionalism, and wished him success in the next stage of his career.
