Panevėžys have completed the signing of 21-year-old winger Jesse Adah on a contract running for the next three seasons.
The Nigeria- and Netherlands-eligible wide midfielder earned the move after impressing during a trial period with the A Lyga side. Panevėžys said Adah has reported in good shape and is ready to begin his second campaign in Lithuanian football.
Adah previously played in the Netherlands for Buitenboys (Almere), Hercules (Utrecht) and Huizen, before spending 2025 with Be1. He scored six goals in 23 appearances in the Pirma lyga.
Adah said Panevėžys’ ambition convinced him to join. “I decided to sign because I believe in the club’s vision and its ambition,” he told the club website. “From the first conversations I understood the club and the coaching staff really wanted me and believed in my potential.
“I’d describe myself as quick, sharp and hard-working. I like taking the initiative against defenders, creating chances and always giving everything for the team. My main goal this season is to help the team with goals, assists and strong performances.”
Panevėžys’ next pre-season match is scheduled for Saturday, 7 February, when they face Latvian second tier side Metta at Beržai Stadium at 14:00.
