Czech side FK Pardubice have strengthened late in the transfer window, securing the services of 19-year-old Gambian winger Muhammed Suso, who joins on a permanent transfer from Estonian side Paide Linnameeskond.
Suso, who has been developing his game in Estonia’s Premium liiga, now takes the next step of his career in the Czech top flight. “I’m really happy to be in Pardubice. Everyone I’ve met at the club so far has been very kind. I can’t wait to meet the fans. This is another step in my football career and I thank everyone who has helped me on my journey,” Suso said after completing the move.
Pardubice sporting director Vít Zavřel explained why the young Gambian was recruited from Paide. “We were scouting wide players and wanted to bring in someone with speed. That’s exactly why Muhammed is here. He’s a young footballer with a big future, but we’re convinced he can already help us with his quality.”
Speaking directly to Pardubice fans, Suso added: “I try to enjoy every moment on the pitch, but I also want to be dangerous for the opposition and, of course, score goals. I want us to climb the table as quickly as possible. There’s a lot of hard work ahead, but I believe we will succeed.”
