Paide Linnameeskond delivered a dominant performance at Pärnu Rannastaadion, defeating Gibraltarian side Bruno’s Magpies 4–1 in the second leg of the UEFA Europa Conference League first qualifying round. With a commanding 7–3 aggregate score, Paide secured their place in the next round.
Compared to the first leg, manager Vladimir Vassiljev made two changes to the starting lineup. Henrik Ojamaa, recently returned and celebrating the birth of his child, was given a start in the No. 10 role, while Corr replaced Reinkort as the central striker.
Paide started brightly. In the 4th minute, Miller slipped a precise pass through to Daniel Luts, who drove into the box but was denied by goalkeeper Funez. Corr and Saarma both had early looks at goal, and Paide looked far more threatening than their opponents.
Luts thought he had given Paide the lead in the 25th minute after a smart finish from Corr’s pass, but the flag was up—offside. The opener came minutes later. In the 34th minute, a blocked shot from Luts bounced to Miller at the edge of the area, who fired low into the net to make it 1–0.
The second half saw Paide push further ahead. In the 65th minute, Juhkam sent a brilliant long ball over the top, Corr latched onto it, and calmly finished through the keeper’s legs. Just minutes later, Gilmore combined well on the right and picked out Corr again, who tapped in his second of the night to make it 3–0.
Bruno’s Magpies pulled one back in the 73rd minute after a defensive miscommunication between Delevic and Jarju allowed Del Rio to score into an open goal. But the momentum remained with Paide.
In the 86th minute, substitute Sander Luts fed Pa Abdou Cham in front of goal, and the forward finished confidently to make it 4–1. Paide could have added more in stoppage time—Ojamaa struck the post and Cham hit the crossbar with a powerful effort from the edge of the area.
The final whistle confirmed a 4–1 victory on the night and 7–3 on aggregate. Paide’s European campaign is off to a strong start, and under Vassiljev’s leadership, they now look ahead to the next challenge which will be the Swedish side Stockholm AIK.
