Opposites attract as Valentine’s Day Tallinn Derby pits Flora against Levadia

Flora and FCI Levadia will clash in a Tallinn derby pre-season test, today, on February 14th, at 15:00 local time at the EJL football hall.

The match is Flora’s fifth warm-up fixture of the winter. They have drawn 2-2 with Pärnu Vaprus, lost 1-0 to AIK in Stockholm, and beaten Latvian sides BFC Daugavpils 4-0 and Ogre United 1-0.

Levadia have played four friendlies thus far, winning two, drawing one and losing one: 3-2 against Pärnu Vaprus and 4-2 against Tammeka, 0-0 against Narva Trans and losing 4-2 to Nõmme United.

The domestic season begins on 28th February, when Flora will face Nõmme Kalju in the A. Le Coq Supercup final at the Paide football hall (17:00). The Premium Liiga campaign is due to get under way on 7th March with Flora facing Nõmme United in the first game of the season and Levadia facing Kuressaare the following day.
