Latvian attacking midfielder Kristaps Grabovskis has made a significant move in his young career, signing a three-year contract with Danish First Division club Boldklubben af 1893—commonly known as B.93. The deal will keep the 20-year-old at the club until the summer of 2028.

Grabovskis arrives from his home-grown club FK Metta, where he spent the past two seasons. During that time, he featured in 30 matches in the Latvian Virslīga, contributing four goals and two assists for the green-and-whites. His move to Denmark comes after the conclusion of his contract with Austrian club Rapid Vienna, which had placed him at Metta on loan for development.

According to Danish media, B.93 signed Grabovskis on a free transfer, with no fee required to complete the deal. The club highlighted his creativity and technical ability as key assets that fit their attacking system.

Grabovskis first gained attention in his early teens thanks to his standout technical skills, which earned him a growing online following and coverage in mainstream media. His youth career included time in the RB Leipzig academy system before he made the switch to Rapid Vienna’s setup in Austria.

B.93, based in Copenhagen, is one of Denmark’s oldest and most storied clubs. Despite having won nine Danish championships in its long history—most recently in 1946—the club has been outside the top flight for decades. Their most recent major success came in 1982 with a Danish Cup triumph. Last season, B.93 finished 9th out of 12 teams in Denmark’s second tier. The club’s home ground has a capacity of 7,000 spectators.
