JK Narva Trans enjoyed a phenomenal run in May, and the accolades followed suit. Striker Pierre Landry Kabore has been named A. Le Coq Premium Liiga’s Player of the Month, while head coach Roman Kozhukhovskyi earned the league’s Coach of the Month honors.

Under Kozhukhovskyi’s leadership, Narva Trans went on a perfect five-match winning streak, defeating Paide Linnameeskond, Harju JK Laagri, Tallinna Kalev, Pärnu Vaprus, and Tartu JK Tammeka. The team scored 18 goals and conceded just 6 during the month, collecting a full 15 points that vaulted them into fourth place in the league standings. Impressively, they now sit level on points (31) with third-placed Nõmme Kalju FC.

Kabore played a central role in this success. Across four matches and 295 minutes on the pitch, he netted eight goals—including three from the penalty spot—and provided one assist. His standout performances earned him two Man of the Match titles and a place in the league’s Team of the Week on three occasions.

May was a milestone month for Kabore in more ways than one. The 22-year-old forward received his first-ever call-up to the Burkina Faso national team during the June international window. He made his senior international debut by coming off the bench late in a match against Tunisia, marking a proud personal achievement in what has already been a breakout season.
