Croatian defender Luka Dumančić will not continue with Žalgiris Vilnius next season, as the two sides have mutually agreed to terminate his contract.

The 27-year-old arrived in the Lithuanian capital in June and made 14 appearances for the club over a three-month span, scoring three goals in that time.

Dumančić’s finishing proved important on several occasions: his goals secured a victory against Banga, earned a draw away at Šiauliai, and opened the scoring in the match against Riteriai.

Toward the end of the season, the defender suffered an injury and did not return to the starting lineup afterward.
