Lithuanian youth international Adrian Lickūnas has completed a deadline-day move to Serie A side Cremonese system, joining on loan from Serie C club Perugia with a buyout option included.
The 19-year-old winger has been in Italy since 2022, when he left the BFA Academy in Vilnius to join Perugia’s system. Since then, he has featured across their youth categories and made his senior debut, tallying three first-team appearances. This season, he came off the bench once in Serie C for Perugia before making the switch.
Lickūnas now arrives at Cremonese, who returned to Serie A this year after a two-season absence. The Lombardy club have started the campaign strongly with two wins from two and also made headlines on the deadline day by signing Leicester City legend Jamie Vardy.
Although he joins a top-flight club, Lickūnas has been signed primarily for Cremonese’s Primavera squad, which is competing in Italy’s top youth league for the second consecutive season.
