Lithuania women will begin their 2027 Women’s World Cup qualifying campaign in March, with fixtures against Liechtenstein and Estonia in their opening window.
They start away to Liechtenstein on Tuesday, 3rd of March, with kick-off at 20:00 local time at Rheinpark Stadion in Vaduz. Lithuania then return home on Saturday, 7th of March to face Estonia at Raudondvaris Stadium, just outside of Kaunas, with the match scheduled for 17:00 and free entry for supporters.
Bosnia and Herzegovina are the other team in the group, as European qualifying follows a Nations League-style format with sides split across divisions. Lithuania are in League C, meaning they will initially face opponents of a similar ranking. Group winners in League C, along with the two best runners-up, will progress to the next stage.
Head coach selections include Anderlecht forward Rimantė Jonušaitė, alongside Italy-based goalkeepers Meda Šeškutė (Vicenza) and Liucija Vaitukaitytė (Como). Defensive options feature Athena Diachenko, Laura Kubiliūtė and Tereza Romanovskaja, while midfielders include Justina Blaževičiūtė, Marija Galkina and Skaistė Petrauskaitė.
The final tournament will be staged in Brazil in 2027.
