# Lithuania name squad for final fixtures of the year
**New Lithuania head coach Mindaugas Čepas has selected his squad for November’s international fixtures, featuring a home friendly against Suriname and a final UEFA Nations League match against Liechtenstein in Kaunas.**

The squad contains no uncapped debutants, though several players return to the national team setup after periods of absence. Žalgiris provide four players in Paulius Golubickas, Deividas Šešplaukis, Matas Vareika, and goalkeeper Vincentas Šarkauskas. Meanwhile, reigning champions Kauno Žalgiris contribute five members to the selection, including returning midfielder Gratas Sirgėdas alongside Tomas Švedkauskas, Rokas Lekiatas, Motiejus Burba, and Vykintas Slivka. Forward Edgaras Dubickas also returns to the fold following his stint in South Korea with Suwon Bluewings.

Celje forward Armandas Kučys has been included in the selection but will only be available for the opening fixture against Suriname on November 12. He is suspended for the competitive fixture against Liechtenstein due to a two-match ban. The UEFA Nations League encounter against Liechtenstein takes place four days later on November 16, with both fixtures scheduled to be hosted at the Darius and Girėnas Stadium.

The defensive department features foreign-based professionals including Vilius Armalas, Kipras Kažukolovas, Justas Lasickas, Pijus Širvys, and Artemijus Tutyškinas, alongside Sūduva defender Žygimantas Baltrūnas. Midfield options incorporate Serie A talent Gvidas Gineitis of Torino, alongside Artūr Dolžnikov, Eligijus Jankauskas, Lukas Michelbrink, and TransINVEST player Domantas Šluta. Manfredas Ruzgis completes the forward line alongside Dubickas and Kučys.
