FK Liepāja continue their squad building for the upcoming season by signing Kenyan U-20 national team midfielder Irad Mushindi to a long-term contract.
The 18-year-old moved to Europe for the first time in the summer of 2025, joining Enköpings SK in Sweden’s third tier. During his time with the club, Mushindi made 11 appearances, starting nine matches in the league.
According to Swedish media, FK Liepāja completed the transfer for a fee and officially presented the midfielder today. Mushindi has signed a four-year contract with the Latvian club.
On the international level, Mushindi made his debut for the Kenya U-20 national team last summer.
