Liepāja announced addition of young midfielder Markuss Ivulāns to the squad, coming over from from Metta, who were relegated to the second tier at the end of last season.
The 19-year-old Latvia U-21 international arrives after spending the past two seasons with Metta, where he made 58 appearances and scored six goals. Before establishing himself in the top flight, Ivulāns also featured for Skanstes SK in the Nākotnes līga.
Ivulāns will be joining former team-mates Alvis Sorokins and Bruno Melnis at the “city where the wind is born”.
