Latvian Virslīga club FK Liepāja have announced that they have mutually agreed to terminate the contract of Swiss winger Tresor Samba after one season with the club.

The 23-year-old attacking player joined Liepāja ahead of the 2025 season. In his only campaign with the club, the Zurich-born winger made 27 appearances in the Virslīga, scoring two goals and providing five assists.

The club confirmed today that the contract termination was reached by mutual consent. A product of the FC Basel academy, Samba spent his entire career in Switzerland prior to his move to Latvia, featuring in the country’s second division with AC Bellinzona and FC Thun.
