The draw for the first stage of the 2026 LFF Cup was made at the Lithuanian Football Federation headquarters in Kaunas on Friday, with 56 teams set to take part in this season’s competition.

Under the competition rules, all clubs from TOPlyga, the Pirma Lyga and the LFF II Lyga A and B divisions enter automatically, while amateur sides from lower divisions can also register. Sixteen amateur teams signed up, taking the total field to 56. TOPlyga clubs are exempt from the opening stage, so 46 teams were included in Friday’s draw.
