The draw for U-21 EURO 2027 qualification cycle took place on Thursday, drawing Latvia against Germany, Georgia, Greece, Northern Ireland and Malta.

U-21 EURO 2027 is set to pit 16 of the best European U-21 national teams against each other in Serbia and Albania in June 2027. Qualifications for the tournament have been organised into nine different groups of five or six teams each. The winner of each group will automatically qualify, as will the best runner up team from across all the groups. The remaining 8 runner up’s will play each other for the final qualification spot.

Qualifications will begin in September this year and complete by end of October 2026.

Having finished 5th in the group with 11 points from 10 games during last cycle, Latvia U-21’s has been drawn into Group F, where they will face:

  • 30.09.2026. | Greece – Latvia
  • 06.10.2026. | Latvia – Malta

Latvia U-21’s best ever result is fourth in a group, achieved on multiple occasions.
