Fans at the A. Le Coq Arena in Tallinn were treated to a high-octane spectacle on Matchday 14, as FCI Levadia and Pärnu Vaprus played out an entertaining 2–2 draw packed with early goals, chaos, controversy, and late-game drama. Here’s a full roundup of the action from Premium Liiga Matchday 14.

Levadia made a few key changes for the match: Karl Andre Vallner returned between the posts, Iboro replaced the suspended Brent Lepistu in defense, while Tur reclaimed his spot at right-back. Up front, the attacking quartet of Roosnupp, Joao Pedro, Otoo, and Tambedou remained intact.

Vaprus, meanwhile, fielded the exact same XI that faced Tammeka last time out — a signal of trust in their system and form.

From the first whistle, both teams looked sharp, and just eight minutes in, Levadia’s Tambedou danced his way near the box but was denied a shot. He teed up Ainsalu for a one-touch attempt, but Vaprus defenders threw themselves in the way.

The visitors took a surprise lead in the 15th minute after a blunder from Levadia keeper Vallner. His attempted short pass was pounced on by Pajo, who squared it into the danger zone. Though Paalberg fluffed the finish, Karl Kauber was there to clean up and fire Vaprus ahead.

Levadia struggled to respond in the opening half. Joao Pedro curled an effort goalward in the 36th minute, but it was easily collected by Nõmm. Vaprus went into the break with a shock 1–0 advantage.

Down 1–0 after a sluggish and error-prone first period against Vaprus, Torres clearly wasn’t willing to wait for momentum to shift naturally. Instead, he took matters into his own hands, refreshing nearly half of his outfield with a sweeping quadruple change — a rarity even in the most dynamic of matches. The injection of energy and intent was immediate. Levadia came out firing in the second half, and their persistence paid off. In the 58th minute, Iboro unleashed a thunderbolt from 30 meters, which clipped teammate Robert Kirss en route to the net — a crucial equalizer.

Soon after, Levadia began piling pressure from set pieces, and the breakthrough came again. After Agyiri’s initial corner was cleared, he recovered the ball, combined smartly with Zakarlyuka, and fired a precise strike from the right to make it 2–1. Levadia looked poised to run away with it.

They nearly did — Schjönning-Larsen rattled the crossbar off a deflected effort, and Pärnu were forced to defend desperately in their own box.

In the 75th minute, chaos erupted. Vallner collided with Vaprus forward Vallik in a race to a long ball, resulting in a yellow card for the latter. Moments later, a bizarre penalty was awarded to Vaprus after Schjönning-Larsen, while falling after a heavy push, had the ball strike his outstretched hand.

Amid protests, Kauber coolly slotted home his second of the night, making it 2–2.

The final stages were breathless. Musaba had a close-range shot saved in the 83rd, and Levadia pushed relentlessly. Gero and Iboro both saw golden opportunities blocked by desperate defending — with Villota’s last-ditch slide the pick of the bunch.

In injury time, Vaprus nearly stole it. Veensalu burst through and tried to square to Välja, but the pass was just inches too far.

As the final whistle blew, both sides had reasons to feel frustrated — and relieved. Levadia lost ground in the title race, while Vaprus proved once again they’re no pushovers, showing grit and opportunism.

Tartu JK Tammeka 5–0 JK Tallinna Kalev

What began as a tight relegation clash at Tamme Stadium between the Premium Liiga’s bottom two sides, Tartu JK Tammeka and JK Tallinna Kalev, quickly turned into a chaotic downpour—of goals for the hosts and red cards for the visitors. By the final whistle, the scoreboard read 5–0, and Kalev had just eight men left on the pitch.

The early stages of the match were balanced, with both teams probing carefully. But in the 27th minute, the floodgates began to crack. Kalev keeper Miron Vetkal parried Tristan Koskor’s initial strike but couldn’t recover in time to stop Herman Pedmanson’s follow-up — 1–0 Tammeka.

Just four minutes later, Vetkal made a mess of a clearance, sending the ball straight to Tanel Lang and slipping in the process. Lang needed no second invitation to roll the ball into the empty net — 2–0, and Kalev were unraveling.

Things worsened for the visitors in the 38th minute, when Airon Kollo received his second yellow card for a late challenge on Ezekiel Tanimowo. Down to ten men, Kalev still showed spirit after halftime, but Tammeka began to exploit the extra space — and the luck fell their way too. In the 52nd minute, Tanimowo’s cross evaded everyone and dipped perfectly into the far top corner — 3–0.

Just past the hour mark, disaster struck again for Kalev. A poor backpass put Vetkal in trouble, and his late challenge on Koskor earned him a straight red card — Kalev down to nine. Tammeka didn’t waste the numerical advantage, and in the 76th minute, substitute Karl Kiidron delivered a perfect first-touch assist for Patrick Veelma to fire home — 4–0.

The storm wasn’t over yet. In the 88th minute, Oscar De Pizzol lost possession inside his own box and brought down Kiidron in desperation. From the ensuing chaos, Chilem Williams Ignatius netted his debut goal for Tammeka — 5–0. Moments later, the referee brandished a second yellow card to De Pizzol, reducing Kalev to eight men in a game that had truly spiraled out of control.

The emphatic win snapped Tammeka’s winless streak, though they remain ninth in the table — just one spot above Kalev.

FC Kuressaare 1–3 Tallinna FC Flora

Tallinna FC Flora made it four wins in a row with a solid 3–1 away victory over FC Kuressaare. The reigning champions took control in the 34th minute when Rauno Sappinen converted from close range following excellent work by Kristo Hussar. Shortly after halftime, a calamitous own goal by Karl-Romet Nõmme doubled Flora’s lead.

Kuressaare tried to mount a comeback, pulling one back in the 68th minute as Otto-Robert Lipp finished off Joosep Kobin’s delivery. But any hopes of a dramatic finish were dashed when 15-year-old Andero Kaares sealed the win for Flora in the 90th minute with his first ever Premium Liiga goal.

Flora’s form keeps them well in the title hunt, while Kuressaare remain stuck in eighth.

JK Narva Trans 4–2 Harju JK Laagri

In the late yesterday’s kickoff, Narva Trans edged a high-scoring contest against Harju JK Laagri, running out 4–2 winners. Mark Maksimkin opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 19th minute, and Josue Doke added another before the break.

Doke struck again early in the second half, this time assisted by Maksimkin. But Harju refused to lie down — goals from Kristofer Piht (75’) and Reinhard Reimaa (80’) brought the visitors back to within one. However, Doke completed his hat-trick in stoppage time to kill off any hope of a comeback.
