Justas Lasickas has officially closed the chapter on his time with Olimpija Ljubljana, as both the Lithuanian international and the club confirmed his departure following the expiry of his contract. After three successful years in the Slovenian capital, the 27-year-old leaves behind a legacy marked by silverware and standout performances.
The versatile wing-back made 107 appearances for Olimpija, scoring five goals and adding six assists. During his stint, he helped the team to two Slovenian league titles — including this season — and lifted the Slovenian Cup once.
Lasickas began his professional career with FK Žalgiris, his only club in Lithuania’s top flight, before moving abroad. His international journey started in Serbia with FK Zemun, followed by a spell in Poland at Jagiellonia Białystok, and then a return to Serbia with FK Vozdovac — the club from which he joined Olimpija in 2021.
On the international stage, Lasickas has earned 57 caps for Lithuania, scoring two goals and becoming one of the national team’s most dependable figures.
