Georgian winger Lasha Odisharia (22) is rumoured to be close to joining Spanish side Sporting Gijón. The Dinamo Tbilisi academy product joined RFS in January last year for, at the time, a transfer fee of in between €200,000.00-€400,000.00. Since then, he developed into a starting XI player, making regular appearances in the Virslīga and European games, including scoring against Galatasaray in the Europa league.
Rumours are circulating that Sporting are in negotiations with the Latvian champions over a transfer, with Odisharia understood to be open to the move. No deal has been officially confirmed, but talks are said to be progressing as the Segunda División club look to strengthen their wide options before the close of the summer window.
