Yesterday, Riga FC announced their decision to part ways with 24-year-old French midfielder Kemehlo Nguena. Now, it has been confirmed that the player has joined FK Auda and has already been training with the team for some time.

Nguena, a product of the Estac Troyes academy, made his breakthrough in Bulgaria, where he played for Slavia Sofia before moving to Riga FC ahead of the 2023 season. His impact in the Latvian Virslīga was immediate, as he featured in 31 matches during the 2023 season, scoring six goals and providing five assists. Last year, he further improved his tally, netting eight goals and registering one assist.

Now, the French midfielder has officially joined FK Auda, strengthening their central midfield for the 2025 season. His arrival is expected to be a significant boost for the club as they aim for a strong campaign.

FK Auda will kick off their season on March 5 with a challenging match against the reigning Latvian champions and UEFA Europa League participants, FC RFS.
