The final match of the 32nd round of the Premium Liiga delivered plenty of drama at Laagri Artificial Turf Stadium, where Nõmme Kalju FC came from behind to secure a 3-1 victory over Harju JK Laagri.

Harju thought they had the perfect chance to strike first when Daniil Rudenko was brought down in the box and a penalty was initially awarded. However, after a VAR review, the decision was overturned, and Rudenko was shown a yellow card for simulation.

The visitors didn’t have to wait too long to celebrate, though. In the 41st minute, Rudenko capitalized on a headed pass from Kaspar Laur and smashed the ball home to give Harju a 1-0 lead at the break.

Kalju responded immediately after the restart. Just one minute into the second half, substitute Ivans Patrikejevs finished off a neat cross from Orlov to make it 1-1. The comeback was complete in the 55th minute when Danylo Mashchenko met Ivanov’s delivery inside the box to put Kalju in front.

Late in the match, it was Ivanov himself who sealed the win. In the 90th minute, the Kalju attacking midfielder made a strong run down the left and slotted the ball past the goalkeeper to set the final score at 3-1.

With this result, Nõmme Kalju leapfrogs Paide Linnameeskond into third place in the league table, two points ahead of their rivals. Harju remain seventh, still ahead of FC Kuressaare by three points, Tartu JK Tammeka by five.
