It has been officially confirmed that the 2025 FPRO LFF Cup final will be held on Sunday, September 28 at 16:00 in the Jonava City Central Stadium. This will mark the first time that the Cup final is held in Jonava.

The final will bring together FK Panevėžys and Hegelmann, two sides who have successfully navigated their way through the earlier rounds to reach the decisive clash.

“The FPRO LFF Cup final is coming to Jonava for the first time, and we want to sincerely thank both the Jonava and Kaunas district municipalities and their mayors for agreeing to host this event and contribute to its organisation. The Jonava Central Stadium is rightly regarded as one of the most welcoming and best venues in the country, so we believe the stands will be full, the atmosphere will be unforgettable, and that fans will drive their team on to victory,” said LFF president Edgaras Stankevičius.

Tickets will go on sale from Monday, September 22 at 12:00 via kakava.lt. For fans unable to attend in person, the match will be broadcast live on LRT Plius and LRT.lt.

For Panevėžys, this will be their third appearance in a Cup final. They lifted the trophy in 2020, defeating Sūduva in a penalty shootout, but lost to FK Žalgiris in Šiauliai the following year.

For Hegelmann, this will be their second final in as many years, and third in the last four, though they are still searching for their first trophy. They lost to Žalgiris after extra time in the 2022 final and were beaten by Banga on penalties last season.

Jonava is a town in central Lithuania, about 30 kilometers (roughly a 30–40 minute drive) northeast of Kaunas.

It sits on the banks of the Neris River and is sometimes called the “chemical capital” of Lithuania due to its large fertilizer factory, but it’s also known for its sports facilities. Jonava City Central Stadium, where the Cup final will be played, is the home ground of FK Jonava and is considered one of the country’s more modern and comfortable venues. Kauno Žalgiris played Welsh side Penybont in QR1 of the Conference League there earlier this year.
