JK Tallinna Kalev adds former North Macedonian youth international Bamijoko

Struggling at the foot of the Premium Liiga table, JK Tallinna Kalev have reinforced their squad for the second half of the season by signing 20-year-old center-back Abiola Bamijoko.

Bamijoko, who has represented North Macedonia at youth levels, came through HJK’s academy and has since played for Sampdoria U19 (Italy), Sønderjyske U19 (Denmark), Norwegian side Junkeren, and Sweden’s AFC Eskilstuna. During his stint in Sweden’s third tier, he started 11 matches in just half a season.

Kalev, who have collected 14 points from 23 matches so far, confirmed that Bamijoko is available for Sunday’s league clash against league leaders FCI Levadia.
