In the Polish Ekstraklasa, Alvis Jaunzems and his team Stal Mielec suffered a crucial defeat on Saturday against Korona Kielce. They are continuing their fight to avoid relegation.
Before this match, Korona Kielce had a three-point advantage over Stal Mielec. Alvis Jaunzems was once again included in the starting lineup, marking his 12th consecutive appearance.
The game’s only goal was scored in the 83rd minute by Korona Kielce forward Mariusz Fornalczyk. This goal ultimately determined the outcome, as Stal Mielec has not won a home game since February 7th.
