**Lithuanian national team goalkeeper Edvinas Gertmonas has caught the attention of several Italian clubs following a standout season in Romania. Currently playing for Universitatea Cluj, the 28-year-old is reportedly on the radar of Serie B side Bari, one of a few Italian teams expressing concrete interest.**

Since joining the Transylvanian outfit last March, Gertmonas has been a wall between the posts, significantly boosting his market value. This season, the Lithuanian national team goalkeeper has made 33 appearances in the Romanian top-flight, keeping a clean sheet 11 times. Romanian media suggest his time in Cluj may be nearing its end, with club insiders acknowledging the likelihood of a summer exit.

Currently sitting eighth in the Serie B table, Bari are positioned to compete in the promotion playoffs for a spot in Serie A.
