Pärnu Vaprus’ defender Markkus Seppik’s injury against FCI Levadia ended up being so serious, that the 24-year old’s season is most likely cut short, as coach Henri Rüütli confirmed to soccernet.ee.

Seppik injured his knee in the 8th minute of the fixture against FCI Levadia on the 28th of May, after a quick change of direction during a one-on-one against Tambedou.

Seppik has played 13 matches in the Premium Liiga this season, 11 of these in the starting lineup. The center back joined Vaprus permanently from Flora ahead of the 2025 season, after spending the second half of the 2024 season on loan there. He has played 77 games in the Estonian top-flight and scored two goals, having also played two games in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
