In the Estonian Premium Liiga Matchday 8, FCI Levadia dominated JK Tallinna Kalev, scoring an impressive nine goals and winning the match 9-0.

Levadia, who had recently ended their perfect season with a 0-0 draw against FC Flora Tallinn in the big Tallinn Derby, faced the bottom team in the league, JK Tallinna Kalev. Last season, in their four meetings, Levadia won three times, with one match ending in a draw, scoring a total of ten goals across those encounters. In this match, they nearly equaled that total in one game, starting with Bubacarr Tambedou who converted a penalty kick in the 13th minute.

In the remainder of the first half, Levadia added two more goals, with Richie Musaba and Mark Roosnupp finding the back of the net. However, it was in the second half that Levadia truly went on the attack. Within a four-minute span, Ernest Agyiri scored twice, and Tambedou added his second goal, extending the lead to 6-0.

The last time Levadia had such a commanding lead was in 2019, when they defeated Tallinna Kalev 7-0. They matched this lead in the 65th minute when Mihkel Ainsalu scored his first goal of the season. Just ten minutes later, Ainsalu added his second goal, bringing the score to 8-0.

The most significant defeat for Tallinna Kalev against Levadia occurred in 2014, when Levadia won all four matches with scores of 5-0, 7-0, 8-0, and 9-0. By the end of the game, Levadia had matched this record with their ninth goal, scored by Nigerian Ahmad Gero, who beat 19-year-old goalkeeper Sander Lepp. This result marked a humiliating defeat for JK Tallinna Kalev while Levadia secured their seventh league victory of the season.
