# Historic upset! Flora stun Chelsea in UEFA Youth League
**FC Flora’s youngsters produced a sensational performance in the UEFA Youth League, defeating Chelsea 3-2 away from home to secure a remarkable 5-4 aggregate victory. Sander Alamaa scored twice, including the decisive penalty, while Marten Kukkonen also found the net as the Estonian side eliminated the English giants after last week’s 2-2 draw in Tallinn.**

Flora travelled to Chelsea’s Cobham training ground as overwhelming underdogs, having already surprised their opponents in the first leg. The visitors made two changes to their starting line-up, with Jaron Silm replacing the injured Kregor Kalvik in midfield and Nikita Kalmõkov coming in for Mark Kukk at full-back.

Chelsea made a flying start, taking the lead after just 91 seconds when Mathis Eboue found the far corner with a shot from a tight angle. However, Flora responded in the 16th minute when Alamaa capitalised on a poor touch from Alfie Osborn, raced through on goal and calmly finished past the goalkeeper to make it 1-1.

Despite Chelsea controlling possession, Flora remained disciplined and continued to threaten on the counterattack. Alamaa nearly scored again in the 33rd minute following a through ball from Palts, but his effort was comfortably saved. The teams entered the interval level, with Chelsea enjoying 61% possession but struggling to create clear-cut opportunities.

The second half began almost identically to the first, as Chelsea regained the lead just 61 seconds after the restart. Eboue delivered a dangerous ball from the left, allowing substitute Rabbaj to finish from close range and make it 2-1.

However, Flora refused to surrender and equalised again in the 55th minute. Alamaa drove into the penalty area from the left before lifting the ball towards the far post, where Kukkonen converted from close range to make it 2-2 and restore parity in the tie.

Chelsea continued to apply pressure, but Flora’s defence stood firm. The hosts missed several opportunities, with Watson, Yisa Alao and Hezekiah Grimwade all failing to find the target.

The decisive moment arrived in the 78th minute when Zotov intercepted a Chelsea pass and helped launch an attack before being brought down inside the penalty area. Alamaa stepped up and confidently converted the resulting penalty, giving Flora a stunning 3-2 lead.

Chelsea pushed desperately for an equaliser in the closing stages, but Flora held on. 15-year-old goalkeeper Andero Tatrik made a crucial save from Watson’s free kick in stoppage time, with the referee blowing the final whistle immediately afterwards.

The victory completed a historic 5-4 aggregate triumph for Flora, with Alamaa scoring four goals across the two matches against Chelsea. The Estonian youngsters now advance to the next round of the UEFA Youth League, where they will face either St Patrick’s Athletic or Vilnius Žalgiris.
