JK Tallinna Kalev have secured the services of experienced full-back Hindrek Ojamaa on loan from Paide Linnameeskond until the end of the 2025 season.
The 30-year-old defender, who has previously played for both Nõmme Kalju and FCI Levadia, joined Paide at the start of 2021 and has since made over 100 appearances for the club. However, his role this season has been limited – Ojamaa has featured for just over 200 minutes in the Premium Liiga, prompting the move in search of more regular game time.
Though his involvement in domestic matches has been minimal this year, Ojamaa was still trusted by Paide in key moments, including a European away match against Swedish side AIK. That experience could prove valuable for Kalev, who are currently in urgent need of reinforcement as they sit at the bottom of the league table.
With 140 career appearances in Estonia’s top division, Ojamaa brings veteran presence and defensive solidity to a Kalev side fighting to turn their season around.
