Hegelmann have signed 23-year-old forward Darrell Kamdem Tibell as the club looks to add options in attack ahead of the new season, which starts already this Saturday.

The Swedish-born striker with Cameroonian roots arrives in Lithuania after spells in the top flights in Sweden and Norway. Born in Umeå, Tibell came through the IFK Norrköping academy and earned a first-team chance after scoring regularly in Sweden’s national U20 league.

He made his Allsvenskan debut in 2022 against Djurgården, before loan stints at Sylvia and Skövde AIK. At the end of the 2023 campaign, he helped Skövde preserve their Superettan status, scoring twice in the promotion-relegation play-offs.

Tibell moved to Norway in 2024, featuring for Sandefjord and making his Eliteserien debut against Rosenborg.

For me this is a very good step,” Tibell said. “It’s an ambitious project – to fight for titles and play in Europe.

Coming back from a serious injury, he stated that his focus in the months ahead is clear: to score goals and help Hegelmann win matches at home and in Europe.
