# Hegelmann players join 66 participants at football festival
Hegelmann’s men’s team took part in a football festival on 27th October, joining 66 participants from six Lithuanian cities. The event, organised with Special Olympics Lithuania and the Lithuanian Mass Football Association, brought together players and children from Kaunas, Vilnius, Jonava, Ukmergė, Gelgaudiškis and Kazlų Rūda.

Midfielder Samuel Oum Gouet opened the festival with an unconventional warm-up, setting the tone for a morning of football, conversation and shared activities. The children had the chance to meet the professional players, encourage one another and enjoy time together on the pitch.

Hegelmann and Special Olympics Lithuania have worked together since 2021, with their joint sports events becoming a regular tradition. The club thanked both organisations, the participants and everyone involved in staging the festival.
