# Harju sign Canadian forward Abdul Binate after trial
**Harju have completed the signing of Canadian forward Abdul Binate after the 23-year-old impressed during a trial spell with the Premium liiga side.**

Binate said he is eager to get started in Estonia and believes the squad can make an impact in the new campaign. “_I’m very grateful for this opportunity and I can’t wait for the season to begin. We have a good team and I’m looking forward to what we can achieve,_” he told the club’s social media channels.

Harju chief executive Kalmar Liiv said the club expect Binate’s pace and attacking ability to add another dimension in the final third. _“He is a powerful attacker who brings quality, speed and skill to our attack and naturally increases competition_,” Liiv said. “_We’re excited to see how he adapts in the 2026 season, but we believe we are definitely a stronger team with him.”_
