# Harju produce early fireworks against Flora to claim fourth straight league win
**Harju JK Laagri continued their remarkable late-season form in the Estonian Premium Liiga with a stunning 3-1 home victory over Flora Tallinn, scoring three goals inside the opening 20 minutes to claim another major scalp. The result keeps Harju firmly in contention for a top-four finish and European qualification**.

Having won four of their previous five matches without suffering a defeat, Harju entered the encounter full of confidence. However, few could have anticipated the extraordinary start they produced against a Flora side looking to strengthen their position in the European qualification places.

The hosts needed just three minutes to open the scoring. Daniil Rudenko delivered a dangerous corner into the penalty area, where defender Kaspar Laur rose highest and directed a header beyond Flora goalkeeper Evert Grünvald.

Rather than sitting back after taking the lead, Harju continued to attack aggressively, exploiting Flora’s defensive uncertainty and repeatedly creating dangerous situations around the visitors’ penalty area.

Their pressure produced a second goal in the seventh minute, with Flora midfielder Vladislav Kreida making a costly mistake in possession. His misplaced pass fell directly to Marten Kelement, who unleashed a superb strike from the edge of the penalty area into the top corner.

Flora nearly responded immediately when Danil Kuraksin cut inside and struck the post, but the visitors’ defensive problems continued.

In the 19th minute, Harju extended their advantage to 3-0 through another goal from Laur. Kelement launched a long throw into the six-yard area, where the defender once again dominated in the air and headed home his second goal of the evening.

Harju should have added a fourth goal in the 36th minute when a well-executed counterattack ended with Palutaja delivering the ball to Karel Eerme, but the forward somehow failed to convert from seven metres with the goal at his mercy.

Flora were briefly awarded a penalty after Laur challenged Tony Varjund, but a VAR review established that the incident had occurred just outside the penalty area. The decision was overturned, and Flora failed to capitalise on the resulting free kick.

Flora emerged with greater urgency in the second half, controlling possession and forcing Harju deeper into their own half. However, the hosts remained dangerous on the counterattack, with Rudenko forcing Grünvald into an excellent save.

The visitors came close to reducing the deficit in the 72nd minute when a corner from Kreida found Valdmets, whose close-range header was kept out by goalkeeper Jan Vainula with assistance from the crossbar.

Flora eventually found a breakthrough in the 78th minute. Substitute Marten Kukkonen forced Vainula into a save, but the rebound fell kindly to Erik Sorga, who reacted quickest to score into the empty net.

Despite Flora’s increased pressure, Harju remained organised defensively and prevented the visitors from mounting a comeback. The hosts also had an unusual opportunity from an indirect free kick inside the penalty area after Grünvald was penalised for handling a deliberate back-pass, but Rudenko’s effort was blocked.

Flora continued searching for another goal during the closing stages, yet Harju successfully protected their two-goal advantage to secure a memorable victory.

The result marked Harju’s third victory over one of Estonia’s traditional top-four clubs in their latest run of matches. More importantly, the three points keep Harju’s hopes of securing a top-four finish alive, just four points behind fourth place Kalju.
