Latvian club FK Grobiņa has officially announced the signing of 22-year-old striker Artjoms Puzirevskis, a product of the FK Metta academy. The young forward joins Grobiņa after a brief stint abroad in Italy’s Serie D.
Puzirevskis spent the first half of 2025 with Manfredonia Calcio, where he made 14 appearances and scored one goal. Prior to his Italian adventure, he had also gained international experience with North Macedonian club Tikves, joining them on loan after an impressive 2023 season. During his time with Tikves, he played five league matches and scored once, also contributing to the club’s historic Macedonian Cup triumph — a first in their history.
Having debuted in the Latvian Higher League at just 17 years old in 2020, Puzirevskis went on to play 110 matches for FK Metta, scoring 26 goals. His breakout season came in 2023, where he netted 10 goals in 34 matches, catching the attention of international clubs.
Now returning to Latvia, Puzirevskis becomes the fifth new addition to FK Grobiņa’s summer transfer window. The club has already strengthened its squad with the signings of Aleksejs Grjaznovs, Ukrainian midfielder Stanislav Morarenko, Lithuanian defender Rolandas Baravykas, and Senegalese attacker Pape Doudou.
