Latvian Virslīga side FK Grobiņa have confirmed yet another summer signing, registering Ukrainian midfielder Stanislav Morarenko to their squad.
The 23-year-old is a product of the Chornomorets Odesa academy and has spent his entire career in his native Ukraine. Over the past four seasons, Morarenko has featured for several clubs in the Ukrainian Persha Liga (Second Division), including Podillya Khmelnytskyi, Dinaz Vyshgorod, and Metalist Kharkiv. During that time, he made 73 appearances, scoring 11 goals and providing 11 assists.
Morarenko becomes Grobiņa’s third addition of the summer transfer window. Earlier, the club brought in former Latvia national team midfielder Aleksejs Grjaznovs, who made his debut yesterday, and earlier today we reported that they have registered former Lithuanian international Rolandas Baravykas.
