In Polish Ekstraklasa, last season’s A Lyga MVP Paulius Golubickas is still in search of his first start for his new club, Radomiak Radom. His team, with a late goal, managed to secure a 1-1 draw in the game against Widzew Lodz.
The 25-year-old attacking midfielder joined Radomiak Radom in the winter transfer window from FK Žalgiris. So far, he has made four appearances in the league, all as a substitute.
In today’s match, Golubickas came onto the field in the 74th minute while his team was trailing by a goal. In the 90th minute, his teammates celebrated a goal by Azerbaijani international Renat Dadashov, who scored his first goal for the club, leveling the game at 1-1.
With this draw, Radomiak Radom remains in 13th place in the league table with 25 points, just three points ahead of 16th place Puszcza. The team in 16th place faces relegation from the Ekstraklasa.
Radomiak Radom’s next league match is next Saturday, when they play an away game against Cracovia.
