professionnel bas\u00e9 \u00e0 Tartu. Il est fond\u00e9 en 1989, peu avant le retour de l\u2019ind\u00e9pendance estonienne. \u00c0 l\u2019origine, il s\u2019agit d\u2019un club uniquement d\u00e9di\u00e9 au football de jeunes, cr\u00e9\u00e9 par Hillar Otto, Avo Jakovits et Heino Ligi. Le bleu et le blanc sont choisis comme couleurs, directement inspir\u00e9es du drapeau de l\u2019Estonie ind\u00e9pendante, comme une prise de position explicite en soutien au mouvement pour l\u2019ind\u00e9pendance.<\/p><p>Bien que fond\u00e9 en 1989, le club n\u2019int\u00e8gre la pyramide du football estonien qu\u2019en 2000. Avec deux promotions cons\u00e9cutives lors de ses deux premi\u00e8res saisons, il atteint l\u2019Esiliiga. Apr\u00e8s deux saisons infructueuses \u00e0 tenter l\u2019accession \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9lite, Tammeka remporte finalement l\u2019Esiliiga en 2004.<\/p><p>En 2007, Tammeka fusionne avec le rival local Maag, dans l\u2019id\u00e9e de b\u00e2tir \u00e0 Tartu un club capable de d\u00e9fier les grandes \u00e9quipes de Tallinn. Le projet tourne mal et, apr\u00e8s la saison 2008, Tammeka reprend son activit\u00e9 en tant que club ind\u00e9pendant.<\/p><p>\u00c0 l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 2009, l\u2019\u00e9quipe est rachet\u00e9e par Babak Ashfar et son \u00e9pouse Jane Afshar, cette derni\u00e8re \u00e9tant nomm\u00e9e pr\u00e9sidente du club. Mais cette nouvelle direction ne s\u2019av\u00e8re pas concluante : en 2014, Tammeka se voit refuser la licence de Premium Liiga en raison d\u2019obligations financi\u00e8res non respect\u00e9es. Finalement, la licence est accord\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019acad\u00e9mie du club, Jalgpallikool Tammeka, ce qui assure la continuit\u00e9 de Tartu Tammeka, mais sous une nouvelle entit\u00e9 juridique.
